ARIES TAROT - A LOOK AT THIS ZODIAC WITH A NEW ASPECT

ARIES TAROT
WHAT IS SO UNIQUE IN ARIES TAROT   (THE RAM)

Aries Sign  - This Astrological Sign is symbolized by the animal RAM. It  is the first astrological sign in the zodiac, spanning the first 30 degrees of celestial longitude between 0° to 30°. The Sun transits this sign from approximately March 20 to April 21 each year. This time duration is exactly the first month of Solar calendar . The symbol of the ram is based on the 'Chrysomallus', the flying ram that provided the Golden Fleece.

The Sun enters Aries zodiac when it reaches the March equinox, which time systems and the western calendar are rooted in, occurring on March 21.

Aries is the first and a fire sign of the zodiac, the other fire signs being Leo and Sagittarius.

You may realize that the Tarot card of the week 4th-10th Oct 2020 is Four of Wands from Minor Arcana. I have mentioned that this week is likely to be focused on the fire signs. Aries being the first among them, the other two being Leo and Sagittarius.

We will discuss the ARIES TAROT cards in Major and Minor Arcana and their impact on the life of an Aries man and woman. The Tarot deck is comprised of 78 cards, further broken down into Major Arcana which is made up of 22 cards and Minor Arcana- classified into Wands, Cups, Pentacles and Swords, each with fourteen cards, adding up to 56 cards.

MAJOR ARCANA - PERSONA TAROT CARDS

The Major Arcana with 22 picture cards are the ones which originally comprised the Tarot deck. This was the time when a person's destiny , lifestyle and work profile was controlled by the Nobility or the kingdom he or she lived in. Life of a majority of people thus remained routine from predecessors to their time. The 'persona Tarot cards', is what they can be referred to as due to their impact on one's personality.  It was later on when Minor Arcana cards got added to the deck.

Minor Arcana - KARMA SYMBOL

Minor Arcana has 56 cards, being your 'karma symbol' or self effort which can change your destiny, not being ruled by someone else. With renaissance, increase in travel and advent of technology, the world has become immensely connected and equal, where any one can dream to achieve a goal, no matter what it is, and control his own destiny. The modern world is thus highly influenced by Minor Arcana cards.

Please read my article on the Major and Minor Arcana cards to know more.

ARIES TAROT IN MAJOR ARCANA

Aries Tarot in Major Arcana is represented by the EMPEROR CARD - No.4. This card is thus the Persona Tarot card with the characteristics of a King or a ruler. An Aries person is also ruled by Fire, the most prominent source of which is the mighty Sun. Aries people are known to be born leaders, commanders and influencers and the Emperor card represents these traits.

Aries Tarot Emperor, can be  commanding and yet humble, taking complete care of his subjects. Aries men and women are always keen on good things in life. They wish to lead a royal life, to the best they can afford. Aries Tarot Emperor is looked upon with respect and trust. They are good in taking strong decisions, which many not be rational all the time, but they are the person at whom 'the buck stops'. They take responsibility and execute it well. They can be aggressive people who want to be obeyed and not questioned. This could sometimes lead to confrontations in their lives.

There is a lot to do with no 4 assigned to the Aries Tarot card here as four represents a multitude of values like 4 directions, 4 seasons and of course, 4 Minor Arcana etc. The no. 4 resonates the vibrations of practicality, service, patience and management capability.

ARIES TAROT  MINOR ARCANA - KARMA SYMBOL

The Minor Arcana in Aries Tarot is represented by 'Wand'. As we have discussed, in the Minor Arcana, has fourteen cards under Wands starting from the Ace (1) to 10 of wands, and then there are four court cards -Page, Knight, Queen and King. Wand is a representative of week in the annual cycle. You can look at a wand as stick with leaves shooting out of it from few places. Wand thus represents-

Hard Work- A wand is used for all sorts of work - scaffoldings, flute, pen and weapon. All are symbols of effort

Strength and durability- A wand used in construction work, for fighting, controlling herd etc.

Growth- The twigs from the wand are representative of growth in life through labor. Wand thus also represent celebration.

Look at 4 of Wands, a card representative of celebration of victory, achievement or a union, of family or businesses etc.

Let me now take an Aries person through the Wands series and how it impacts the zodiac. Yes there is a 'reverse card meme' to each facade tarot, the readings in reversed could differ in comparison to the card appearing upright.

Ace of Wands- Represents growth in business and work. Rising Sun

2 of Wands- Represents success in good things to come. Rising Sun

3 of Wands- Represents profit and success in business ventures. Shining Sun

4 of Wands-Represents victory and celebration. The Sun is at it's zenith

5 of Wands- Represents ability to fight back in the event of a conflict. The Sun outshines the stars

6 of Wands- Represents good news of victory and achievement. The Sun shines back as the clouds dissipate.

7 of Wands- Stiff competition in work but ability to hold one self against all odds. Strong Sun

8 of Wands- Represents Travel to new locations, new goals. The solar system travels around the Sun

9 of Wands- Represents patience required to wait for results. Sun is always unperturbed and comes out victor

10 of Wands- Represents too many responsibilities on one shoulders, just like the Sun which takes responsibility of all life on the planet, yet is never tired or worn out.

Page of Wands- Represents some news awaited since long, like the Sun rises in the morning after a long dark night.

Knight of Wands- Represents a possible change in life, The running horse of the Knight could be indicative of impulsive nature. The Summer Sun.

Queen of Wands- Power to attract and command. This is not a feminine card. Sun attracts all life

King of Wands- Power to rule  and outshine others. Agility, both in mind and body and mind of a commander yet a thorough gentleman. A true representative of the Sun.

The appearing reverse card meme in the deck can have varying meanings which I will not discuss here, because there is no straightforward meaning to them. A card appearing reverse can work out to be stronger than when appearing upright as against many theories.

Impact of Full moon in Aries

Moon takes it's energy from the Sun, having said that, full moon indicates somewhat strength of the Sun in night time. Look at the color of the full moon, whether it is Red, golden yellow or white, the moon impacts the mind as the Sun impacts the body, but let us not forget that brain is also a part of the body being governed by the Sun. Sun governs the day while the Moon rules the night.

A full moon can cause a Solar eclipse, covering the Sun for a very short time, but at the end the Sun comes out as a victor. If an Aries person lives up to the qualities of the Sun, spreading light and warmth everywhere, everything else will automatically be taken care of. It is therefore most important for an Aries person to be kind and generous, controlling his impulse and anger in order to lead a whole some life.

You can refer to some sites providing Aires horoscope, where both the element of Astrology and Tarot is looked upon before making a reading.

I found  yahoo horoscope aries to be one such good site.

You can also go Numinous numinous tarot website for some interesting facts on tarot cards.

Tarot cards are no sorcery but are  Karma symbols as each card of the deck represents effort required in order to achieve a goal. Sweet celebration of victory can only be a result of labor and not destiny.

TAROT COMIC v/s MYHOROSCOPE

Tarot comic is nothing but making up of a story visualizing the cards appearing in a spread. The cards can be upright or reverse. A Tarot reader needs to evaluate their meaning like a Tarot comic script, which has King, Queens,  Prince and Princess, Pages, Devil, Chariot, Star, Sun, Celebration, Joy and sorrow, victory and defeat,  gain and loss, Hermit and a Fool .

This Tarot Comic has it all, it is important to understand the story to come to a meaningful conclusion by linking each card with each other to the seekers journey. My horoscope coming from Astrology calculations can be read only done by a skilled person but he may still have   no understanding of me except for the chart him, whereas the Tarot comic story can even be self understood, making some logical sense of appearing cards.
